Our Dream Home
From time to time, my husband brings home brochures of properties for sale here in Sydney. More often than not, I keep them for a while. I enjoy browsing the pages over and over and dream of our future home – our home.
In one of the brochures, there is one freestanding property in the Concord area that I really, really liked. It has an open space concept with French doors that lead to the garden. There are trees on the sides of the house and the middle is cemented paving the way for the carport. Inside, the floorings are made of timber, the dining area is split with a bar and there are lovely quality bar stools with its legs matching the bar top polishing. The overall design is sophisticated but definitely not intimidating. Plus, the location is good with nearby major roads.
And you know what I did with that page in the brochure? I clipped it and put it on the fridge door. It has been there for months. It is there to inspire me and my husband to work towards our goal. We may not buy this property now but someday we will find one that is really meant for us.
